- Fuel Records: Fuel purchases, costs, amounts, locations, and efficiency data
- Location Information: GPS coordinates and addresses for parking location tracking (Premium feature only)
- Device Information: App usage analytics and crash reports for improvement

Data Storage
- Local Storage: Your data is primarily stored locally on your device
- Cloud Storage: Optional backup to Firebase for account and profile data
- Security: All data transmission is encrypted using HTTPS

- Access, edit, and delete your data within the app
- Use guest mode without creating an account
- Control app permissions through device settings
- Control app permissions including location access through device settings
- Request complete account deletion
Third-Party Services
We use Google Firebase for authentication and cloud storage. We do not sell or trade your personal information.
Important: Your vehicle maintenance data, photos, and personal information are stored locally on your device by default. We only access this data when you explicitly choose to back it up to the cloud or when you contact us for support.
Data Retention
- Local data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app
- Cloud backup data is retained for 30 days after account deletion
- You can request immediate deletion of all your data at any time
Children's Privacy
CarMaintain is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
